Really REALLY love the cinematic spirits and visualization. Although it could've been a dangerous move, we thank both of you of putting additional descriptions of the three unique themes, which made us feel like we were watching a movie...

The big criticism (or maybe not) mostly stems from the desert-esque that is difficult to visualize, but we were more lenient with it, as the Wild West has wildernesses, and they're technically barren lands of deserts!

Thanks for the review!

also apologies if our french isn't correct, we have a grammar book at home but can't speak it well.

Merci beaucoup ! (thx a lot x) )
And, it's written the good way! Well played! :3

We definitely love the tropical, vacation-like energy within the song, but we do not feel it would be... racing. In that sense of element, the song feels lacking, and more of a stroll. Eh, we guess you can be "racing" against time or the heat, let's say.

Thanks for the review!

Accordion definitely is a chef's kiss and one of the elements that made us vote 5 stars. Feels like as if animal crossing was a racing game, in some way.

Everratic responds:

Thank you!

cute cover art :D
The song feels more like a flash game from the 2000s, idk if that's the best word to describe... but we love it!
Albeit having a hibernal spirit, but it doesn't feel much like a racing atmosphere.

ZuwerWS responds:

I really like the cover art as well, Dax is the one who has drawn it and it looks great

That lead... it tickles our brain in a good way...

Snikio responds:

That lead was the reason I became confident in this track haha. Thank you!

Our ears aren't the best, so it's possible that our criticism isn't 100% valid to others. A disclaimer.

This song certainly grasps the spirit of a VGM, especially ones from an older generation or with a "simplistic" sound font. We admit, sometimes VGM aren't really our cup of tea, but we're starting to appreciate them more, and how iconic it can become throughout communities, both online and offline.

The usage of adding chiptune and other "bit-crushed" like samples is a chef's kiss, especially the vocals. We were originally thinking that the car whooshing sample being bit-crushed would've been better, but we decided that if it were, then it would be more... unrecognizable. The orchestral instruments feel a bit MIDI-like and synthetic, but this seems understandable, as more realistically sounding VSTs are... quite expensive. And we're also lazy to modulate them to sound more real.

The main criticism we had were the volume of the music and other instruments being loud, and the ending and some parts feeling a bit off-beat. It could just be us, but it was somewhat a pet peeve that slightly was annoying.

In general, I believe the atmosphere of playing an old racing game is there, and the background noises make it feel more hibernal. I will give my kudos for this.

Creeperforce24 responds:

It’s an opinion, but the loudness of the song was intentional, you see, I’ve been trying to make my songs louder and louder, but not so loud to where it starts being just overall horrid mixing and staticky and such. And basically I was just going for a racing game VGM so yeah, you basically got it on point, also I’m also mobile XD THATS WHY MY INSTRUMENTS SOUND TRASH!
Also I agree, I’m not a big fan of the ending myself, I kinda rushed it, so very understandable as to why you’d say that.
Some valid criticism, some where you just need to lower your own volume lol. Thanks for being honest :D

Guitar riff... amazing...
